Principal's Message

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Welcome back for the 2018-2019 school year! The faculty and staff at THCTT are excited about the start of another fantastic school year and look forward to working with students, parents/guardians, and community members to prepare every student, every day for future success.

We are excited to continue to build upon the fantastic student accomplishments and programs which took place last school year. A few of these include:

  • Students earned 380 certifications and credentials.
  • Students took part in and benefited from noteworthy events such as ‘Ready. Set. Hire.’, Technical School Night, and Awards Night.
  • Business advisory committee meetings were held for each of our program areas. These partnerships led to student jobs, equipment donations, and field trip experiences.
  • Students competed and were successful in SkillsUSA competitions at the district and state level.

Goals for Our School and Our Students

At THCTT our goal is to "Prepare Every Student, Every Day for Future Success." We believe this is accomplished through four key components:

  1. A student-centered, relevant learning experience which prepares students to be successful in the workforce in general, as well as in careers related to their course.
  2. A safe, secure, and caring learning environment.
  3. Effective parent and community engagement in our programs to enable us to obtain valuable feedback in which to shape our curriculum and help us prepare students for future success.
  4. Opportunities for students to obtain industry credentials, as well as jobs or apprenticeships.

Student Safety

Student safety is of utmost importance here at THCTT. We expect students to follow the expectations outlined in the code of student conduct at all times, as well as any course-specific safety requirements. Unsafe behaviors may lead to a recommendation of removal from any program in order to ensure the continued safety of all students and staff.
